Psychological Therapy

At Autism Unravelled we work to reduce distress  and promote psychological wellbeing for people with ASD. This may involve working one-to-one with the individual, with parents or with families.

Often people will seek psychological support for concerns regarding emotional, behavioural or social difficulties including anxiety, depression, low self confidence. We also work with individuals and families hoping to build on existing strengths and knowledge in order to create change.

We offer psychological interventions using cognitive behavioural therapy or systemic therapy. Sessions last 1-1.5 hours depending on therapy and are usually commissioned in blocks of 4 sessions.
