Supervision – charities, healthcare & education

Alongside our comprehensive training, we offer bespoke consultancy to schools and employers. We believe that our multidisciplinary skills provide teams with an holistic approach to tackling areas of concern and supporting people with ASC to reach their potential.  Supervision can be arranged either at regular intervals or as one-off sessions.

Supervision sessions are £130/50 minute session.

Undoubtedly. Louise and Rebecca have a vision of recognising the strengths associated with neurodiversity and very much work from this perspective.

Supervision for staff

Supporting your staff is beneficial for their psychological wellbeing and functioning, as well as facilitating a better environment for those with ASC. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to understanding a particular individual's functioning or wider issues impacting on the whole system.

Case discussion

We are able to provide consultation to support education staff in understanding and helping specific individuals focusing on finding solutions.

Helping to communicate effectively

We are trained to facilitate confident and appropriate communication skills across all levels, from picture exchange-based communication system and sign language through to helping an individual have conversations and communicate appropriately in a range of settings (education, employment and community).

Supervision with Rebecca is immensely useful – she has a wealth of knowledge and experience working within neurodiversity and demonstrates a nuanced understanding of associated systemic factors. For me, these are the key ingredients of clinical supervision and positively influence my own clinical work and understanding with young people.

Behaviour support

We consider behaviour to be a form of communication. We support teams in developing a model for understanding the function of the behaviour and developing practical strategies.

Work-based assessments

In order to support neurodivergent employees, we work closely with individuals and staff teams to ensure reasonable adjustments are in place.

Supervision feedback:

If you are seeking clinical supervision, whether as an independent practitioner or clinician within the NHS, then you are in the right place. Rebecca has significant experience of working in the NHS and understands the challenges associated with this. She creates a safe space whereby you can really discuss cases in detail, considering various avenues for creating positive change within the systems for the young person involved.

I was fortunate to work alongside Louise as a colleague for a number of years.  She has also provided me with clinical supervision in the past and she continues to do so.  As a clinician, Louise is the most positive and inspirational role model I could hope for, always seeking to improve services for the benefit and wellbeing of the children she works with and always advocating strongly on their behalf.  She uses both her brilliant clinical expertise and knowledge and her innate sense of fun to provide motivating and meaningful therapy for children.  She also knows how to impart her knowledge in a kind and positive way to parents, staff and other colleagues and build their skills and confidence and empower them in their interactions.  Louise always goes above and beyond to support families, arriving at 7am on a number of occasions at one family’s house to support them with strategies to help get their daughter on the school bus.

Louise continues to support me with a number of complex and challenging work-related situations in her role as my clinical supervisor.  She is always very easy to approach with any concern and takes the time to talk through any difficulties.  Louise has always demonstrated great belief in my own abilities, building my confidence as a clinician and she encourages and supports me to find solutions that match with my own clinical approach and skills.  Any family who has an autistic child or a child with other communication needs and who has any involvement with Louise will receive the very best support.  The child and family are always at the centre of everything Louise does.
